Happy in Montana : Destination Hidden Lake

Hidden Lake
This is a nice panoramic shot my son John took at Hidden Lake, obviously not so hidden if we found it. However you do cross the continental divide on the way up and are rewarded with a long range view. The blue of the waters below are particularly enticing. The trail down to the lake was closed due to bear activity. Another day perhaps .

They are always your children

No matter how old they are , how responsible and productive , you always remember them as your children. A great visit with John and Jen a week ago. Someone was kind enough to snap this picture with Hidden lake in the background . It was great to see both of them !

John teaches science and Jen teaches music. John also has some wonderful artistic talents. http://johnhunterdesigns.com/2012/08/06/getting-back-to-work/  is a link to his blog and shows some of his work in wood ( furniture) and his painting !

One foot in front of the other

One foot in front of the other is the best therapy. It creates a rhythm that drives out the demons. It clears the space and in that moment of honoring the four directions we become one again with those things that nourish us and protect us. Inviting the enlightened aspects of the universe to clothe us in it's armor.
