Life on Echo

In the Great NorthWest one would not expect to find so much life. Logic dictates to fly south to enjoy the balmy breezes. . However in the distance across the frozen marsh are water fowl calling out to each other of perhaps warning the fish they are on the way. Today there are Canadian Geese and perhaps the white birds are Snow Geese. In the picture below you can see them circling to land on the open patches of water.
Prior to my trip to Echo Lake I was invaded by the rats with Antlers. Ok just one had antlers. At any rate I had plans to haul off the trash today. However the deer decided to graze the yard . All eleven of them. The most coveted Marley watched from the window . Whining in a high pitch that could only mean he wanted out for a chase. But 11 of them . Where does one start if one is a dog?

I am always amazed at the clarity of the water. A beautiful sunny afternoon enjoying the sun and reflections on the lake. After the sun and fun Marley is ready to lie down for a snooze. He has a wonderful surprise this afternoon. His Mom is on the way!
