In Celebration of the Rain
Nature's chandelier
yellow peepers
Mysterious black fungus
sweet lavendar violets
spring green venturing out
A Lunar surface fungus in a supposedly arid climate
Word has it that this is an semi arid environment. Hard to prove that at the moment as it has rained for 2 days straight. So we will temporarily pretend we are in a North Western rain forest and enjoy the drizzle .
That is the state of things Heather. We are usually semi arid but this last year has been quite wet. We have a huge snow pack to melt and on the Eastern side of the Rocky mountains the snow pack was even larger. All that water is heading for the Mississippi. So flooding will be an issue for a long time yet . Today it is sunny and it is nice to see. I hope you have a wonderful day!
I'm sure a couple of days of drizzle in an other wise semi-arid environment would be enjoyable!
