A yielding heart

"The old Lakota was wise. He knew that Man's heart away from nature becomes hard."

Luther Standing Bear
~Lakota Chief~

'i only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out til sundown, for going out, i found, was really going in.' ~ john muir

  3. Thanks Heather, these are pics from my vacation, in the Rockies, Glacier Park.
My pics from about the Smokies are near my house.

Thanks Mary Jane, I love being outside ,maybe because my job keeps me too much inside, I spent so much time out as a kid and it was wonderful , each moment is to be cherished. My favorite from John Muir is " Going to the mountains is going home. " ; )

  4. Lovely photo. The gray sky give the air of winter's chill without having every tree and rock covered in snow. For some unknown reason, deep gray skies always remind me of winter, even though I live in tropical Florida where dark clouds are frequent visitors year round.

  5. Hmmm, typos again, sorry ! How about replacing "The gray sky give the air of winter's chill" with; "The gray sky gives the air a look of winter's chill ". :)

I love to hear from my readers, please share your thoughts!
